” Charlie put the mug to his lips, and as the rich warm creamy chocolate ran through his throat into his empty tummy, his whole body from head to toe began to tingle with pleasure, and a feeling of intense happiness spread over him.”

Well, that pretty much sums it up! Roald Dahl illustrates the feeling in the most perfect way. A drink that possesses the versatility of being whimsical & magical for some and yet indulgent & enticing for others. To me a big mug of hot chocolate screams comfort, warm winter mornings, cosying up with a blanket in front of the television & loads of happy fuzzy feelings. The surge of endorphins you get from a bar of chocolate is a known fact but the joy of gulping down a hot chocolate overflowing with spongy marshmallows is unbeatable.

This hot chocolate has been spruced up by peppermint which imparts a certain freshness that entwines perfectly with the chocolate.
